From Cardiff. Go along the A470 take the 2nd Pontypridd junction, you come to a roundabout, take the second turn off, it looks like your going back onto the A470 but you come to the another roundabout take the first turn off, go over the bridge then left by the lights into Penuel Lane following this road which runs into Taff St. Pontypridd Chess Club is indicated by the orange X (second map below) as you come along to Penuel Lane keep to the left to flow into Taff St, the Clwv-v-Bont pub is down a side lane between 2 shops on your left.
